物体在什么地方比较重

地球施向一个物体的吸引力(地球引力)要跟着这个物体从地面升高而减低。假如我们把1千克重的砝码提高到离地面6400公里,就是把这砝码举起到离地球中心两倍地球半径的距离,那么这个物体所受到的地球引力就会减弱14,如果在那里把这个砝码放在弹簧秤上称,就不再是1000克,而只是250克。根据万有引力定律,地球吸引一切物体,可以看作它的全部质量都集中在它的中心(地心),而这个引力跟距离的平方成反比。在上面这个例子里,砝码跟地心的距离已经加到地面到地心的距离的两倍,因此引力就要减到原来的12,就是14。如果把砝码移到离地面12800公里,也就是离地心等于地球半径的3倍,引力就要减到原来的13,就是191000克的砝码,用弹簧秤来称就只有1ll克了,依此类推。

  这样看来,自然而然会产生一种想法,认为物体越跟地球的核心(地心)接近,地球引力就会越大;也就是说,一个砝码,在地下很深的地方应该更重一些。但是,这个臆断是不正确的:物体在地下越深,它的重力不但不是越大,反而越小了。这现象的解释是这样的:在地下很深的地方,吸引物体的地球物质微粒已经不只是在这个物体的一面,而是在它的各方面。请看图20。从图上可以看出,那个在地下很深地方的砝码,一方面受到在它下面的地球物质微粒向下方的吸引,另外一方面又受到在它上面的微粒向上方吸吸引。这儿我们不难证明,这些引力相互作用的结果,实际发生吸引作用的只是半径等于从地心到物体之间的距离的那个球体。因此,如果物体逐渐深入到地球内部,它的重力会很快减小。一到地心,重力就会完全失去,因为,在那时候,物体四周的地球物质微粒对它所施的引力各方面完全相等了。

                  

  所以,物体只是当它在地面上的时候才有最大的重力,至于升到高空或深入地球,都只会使它的重力减小
