筷子提杯

【器材】

竹筷,杯子,米。

【操作】

(1)将杯子盛满米,把竹筷插入米中,向上提起竹筷,筷被拉出,米杯留在桌上。

(2)把竹筷插入米中以后,用手掌把米压紧,越紧越好,再向上提竹筷,米杯被提起,如图7-51所示。

  实验表明,当米被压紧后,米与筷子、米与杯壁之间的压力增大,它们之间的摩擦力也增大,因而筷子能把米杯提起。

【注意事项】

  宜选用表面较粗糙的竹筷。如果不用喇叭形的敞口杯子而用收口的玻璃杯或玻璃瓶(如酱菜罐头瓶,牛奶瓶),实验更易成功。
